I photographed all the details while Brooke got ready with her gals, popping champagne, and munching on her favorite food, fried chicken. Soon it was time for the festivities to begin. Brooke’s dress was stunning; so simple with drop satin sleeves and adorable white pumps, while Ryan went full 3-piece suit on us. He looked absolutely dashing.
Elopements are a special kind of magic. Short, sweet, intimate, and deserving of a beautiful backdrop. Something worthy of the raw, gorgeous moments you’re sharing with your partner. Natural beauty to match the most natural thing of all, love.
Their meet-cute was by way of a set-up. Brooke and Ryan’s parents were good friends and after a quick introduction at a pizza place, they fell in love. Brooke and Ryan are both so charismatic and just such a joy to be around.
Shooting at the Grand Canyon with these two was such a dream. I honestly can’t believe how perfect they look, as if painted onto the backdrop. The breeze would pick up Alana’s veil while Brian was gazing at her lovingly; I was squealing inside.
I gotta say, that hike was more challenging than I was anticipating. Some huffing and puffing is good for the soul right? But not to worry, it was all worth it in the end. I’m so so happy with the final photos, and so excited to see one of my photos printed and hung in their new home.
Jenna and Blake are from Kentucky but came out to Phoenix for their babymoon. Lucky for me they found me on Instagram and knew they wanted to schedule a shoot. And what’s a more perfect time for a photoshoot than when you’re relaxed and refreshed on a babymoon.
While family photos might not seem like the highlight of the wedding day, they are some of the most cherished images. Capturing the best family photos just takes a few extra steps of preparation.
Their proposal story gives me giggly, fuzzy feelings inside. I had the best time capturing their engagement photos. I feel as though their chemistry just jumps off these images at you; contagious love. I can’t wait for the big day ya’ll, it’s going to be pure magic.
Jordan said later that his favorite part of the day was reading letters to each other before the ceremony. They decided against a first look and instead read letters to one another while back to back with a door between them. They could hold hands and talk to each other but no looking! That is when Jordan remembers feeling the first rush of emotions for the day, it was a special moment.
