As an alternative, I’ve been suggesting studio shoots to my couples. They give engagements and milestone shoots an extra edge, or elevation. It’s a blank canvas; a creative space open to all possibilities. I’ve found recently that working in-studio has made me feel even more artistic and inspired
This handsome couple hails from Michigan but came out to visit and celebrate being newly engaged. Spending an evening with them, I realized I’ve never spent time with a couple quite like them, the perfect balance between whimsical and sophisticated. They’re so naturally photogenic and genuinely had fun from start to finish. I think you can tell by those sweet little smiles.
“Don’t be offended, but I definitely won’t remember your name,” were Katie’s first words to Rafe when they met at a pool party their first week of PA school. Welp, in Rafe’s words “turns out she did.”
They met in 2017 at a vegan restaurant in Minneapolis, completely by chance. They had a mutual friend and bumped into each other that day. Sara was apparently already smitten. As luck would have it Bonnie soon saw Sara on a dating app and recognized her from their meet cute just a few days prior. And as they say, the rest was history.
Your engagement pictures will be such important keepsakes for years to come. There are many things to prepare for and think about before the day-of. When our photoshoot starts, I don’t want you to have to worry about a single thing. So better for you to prep now so you can relax and have fun when the time comes.
