Shooting at the Grand Canyon with these two was such a dream. I honestly can’t believe how perfect they look, as if painted onto the backdrop. The breeze would pick up Alana’s veil while Brian was gazing at her lovingly; I was squealing inside.
I gotta say, that hike was more challenging than I was anticipating. Some huffing and puffing is good for the soul right? But not to worry, it was all worth it in the end. I’m so so happy with the final photos, and so excited to see one of my photos printed and hung in their new home.
Jenna and Blake are from Kentucky but came out to Phoenix for their babymoon. Lucky for me they found me on Instagram and knew they wanted to schedule a shoot. And what’s a more perfect time for a photoshoot than when you’re relaxed and refreshed on a babymoon.
“Don’t be offended, but I definitely won’t remember your name,” were Katie’s first words to Rafe when they met at a pool party their first week of PA school. Welp, in Rafe’s words “turns out she did.”
While family photos might not seem like the highlight of the wedding day, they are some of the most cherished images. Capturing the best family photos just takes a few extra steps of preparation.
The ceremony was quick, but lovely, and the energy in the room was so exciting. You could just tell that Kyle and Candis’ people were special people. That room was filled with so much love. Before we knew it, vows were exchanged, rings were placed on fingers, and the couple had shared their first kiss. It was time to party.
Their proposal story gives me giggly, fuzzy feelings inside. I had the best time capturing their engagement photos. I feel as though their chemistry just jumps off these images at you; contagious love. I can’t wait for the big day ya’ll, it’s going to be pure magic.
I thought the engagement session was so perfectly, them. Cozy, fashionable, and romantic. We shot at Buffalo Park in Flagstaff with champagne, a woven blanket, and lots of love in tow. There are so many in-between moments I managed to photograph from this session that have so much heart. These two melt my heart!
Through all the events I’ve photographed, I’ve come up with my own ideas for the perfect songs for your first dance with your new partner.
Tan and I had snagged an airbnb in Joshua Tree that peaked our interest. “Casa de la Muxer” described a 1940s adobe style home with vintage details so naturally I was pumped. I thought it could be a good location for an engagement session that I had booked with some pals who were going to crash with us, and I was right.
The two are splendidly well-matched. When we met up for their engagement photos I was totally taken with their energy. Their fun go-with-the-flow vibes matched our beachy backdrop perfectly. Exploring the San Diego coast and running around the beach town was the most fun, especially when your clients are such a blast to be around!
They met in 2017 at a vegan restaurant in Minneapolis, completely by chance. They had a mutual friend and bumped into each other that day. Sara was apparently already smitten. As luck would have it Bonnie soon saw Sara on a dating app and recognized her from their meet cute just a few days prior. And as they say, the rest was history.
